At Alameda Science and Technology Institute our vision is to ensure ALL students, especially those who are underrepresented, are provided the resources to attain a college degree from the institution of their choice and become responsible, proactive, and empowered global citizens with a life-long love of learning.
Located on the west end of Alameda, ASTI is a unique early-college high school that offers high school students the opportunity to dual-enroll at the College of Alameda and other local community colleges. The ASTI student body is highly diverse: nearly a third of graduates are first-generation college students, a third of students qualify for free or reduced lunch, and 50 percent speak a language other than English at home.
As a public school, ASTI’s budget is not sufficient to fund all the programs and resources needed, so your membership, volunteer hours, and donations to our PTSA auction will be immensely valuable for our community!
ASTI PTSA raises funds that will be used for a variety of purposes, such as:
● Student clubs (including ASTI’s Robotics Club, Gardening Club, and others)
● Campus projects, PE equipment, and other needs
● End-of-year prom, class events, and other student activities
● Teacher training, books, and supplies
This Spring 2024, the Alameda Science and Technology Institute Parent-Teacher-Student Association (ASTI PTSA) will be holding our Spring Auction 2024, our major fundraiser for the year. Please reach out if you have the means to make a donation for the auction! Thank you!
